heyo...

Firstly ..I'd like to apologise to all my imaginary fans out there for not blogging much lately. You see..i really do feel like blogging sometimes...but my laziness beats me to it ...And i end up doing something more productive like mining my nose for gold ..or staring at the weird stains in the commode. Anyways ...its been a very busy month otherwise (hence ...i love to laze around whenever i get a chance) . Joined a course in oracle apps...and its kinda like a 10-7 thing ...So that leaves me very little time for anything else. Watched a few good movies lately tho... You should watch these movies if you get the time ..

1. The departed : This movie is one of the best movie I've watched in the recent months. The slick direction by Scorsese and the awesome acting by Matt Damon and Leonardo really steal the show. The movie score is so catch too.This movie left me so shaken ..that i was literally shivering after i exited the theater.A roller coaster ride is what it is ....

2. Accepted : This movie made on the lines of American pie is about a teen who gets rejected from all the colleges he applies to and then ends up making a fake college just to fool his folks. A feel good movie with a lot of funny characters and one liners. Typical run of the mill teen movie where one passionate speech in the ending changes everything . Nevertheless...pretty watchable ..if you've got nothing else to do.

As for other news...i really don't know whats with people when it comes to riots. Referring to the riots in Maharashtra yesterday ...I fail to understand how burning up private and government property will actually compensate for someone having desecrated a statue. These rioters need to think logically rather then employing such tactics..and causing so much worth of damage to the public at large ..who have absolutely nothing to do with this incident. These things really make me seethe with anger sometimes...but who am i kidding ...i get to stay at home n relax ..cos there's a curfew outside.
Aaaah ..the good life !! :)

Just got a bit of free time on my hands so decided to let ya all know whats going on in my crappy life. Been doing nothing much over the past few days apart from watching movies n drinking. Yeah...
watched 3 movies yesterday ...

1.Thank you for smoking
WOW !! this movie rocks. Is this how the cigarette industry actually manages to sell us those poison sticks ?? The sleek smart talking Eckhart is a genius.A must watch ...

2.The hills have eyes
GAK !! statutory warning : do not watch this flick on a full stomach ...unless you want to vomit your guts out on the floor. This is one of the goriest films i've ever seen... and the most unique part of this film is much of the action takes place in broad daylight ...in the middle of the desert... and its still frikkin scary !!

3.The Sentinel
Okay...there's a mole inside the secret service ..and its Micheal Douglas and keifer Sutherland who're gonna save the day by flushing em out good. But after a series of secret affairs and framing up's ..things get all awry..and thats when the action begins. A typical run of the mill secret service movie. Ho Hum.. watch it only if you hav'nt got anything else to do.

Apart from the movies I've been spending much of my time staring at the ceiling and dreaming about a harem full of Lebanese dancers. No seriously...I'm just getting the much needed rest after weeks of shitty work !! Will be back once the maggots inside my brain vanish. Till then ... Peace out.

Love is not a game for two...

I know i shouldnt be day dreaming about relationships just before my exams are gonna start...but i just couldnt help but write this. I read this really sweet article about the things guys do when they are in love and when they are in a relationships..and it really set me thinking. Now i'm a person who's had his fair share of relationships...and each one has been a learning experience. Some ended with a mutual understanding ..but others were just plain bitter.But The scars eventually healed and i did manage to love again.but its not the heartbreak that i'm worried about..
..its the feeling of being in love. Somehow i feel i've actually lost that ability to be "in love" and stay there for the time it matters.Its something like the 7 year itch...a midlife crisis..call it what you may..but the fact remains that i really dont know if i'll ever be able to truly experience that feeling of being in love again.The easiest part is the first few days when you're attracted to someone and all out to please her.. then after that ..things just take a downward spiral.I dont know why i feel that way. Is it really my fault ? Or is it just human nature to get bored of things once you've attained them ..or if you've had too much of them ?I wish i could be teleported back in time ...when i was innocent and young...and learning to love for the first time... away from the heartbreaks ...and away from the pain.

Busy Busy Busy.... !!

I know its been such a long time since i've updated my blog... and lot of you guys out there are just dying for their daily dose of laxative. But fear not ..it is not a writers block that keeps me from posting .. rather...it is that dreadful thing called "exams" , which pops up its ugly head twice a year. I shall be back as soon as i have vanquished this terrible demon. Till then...do pray for me ..so that i shall return a victor.

V for Violet underwear....

Just watched "v for vendetta" today.Its directed by the wachowski brothers...(a.k.a the directors of the matrix ) Well..if you're expecting it to be a movie anything like the matrix ...then stay away. Its more like the mask of zorro set way into the future. Britan has turned into a dictatorship (just like Hitler's Germany) and its the responisbility of our dear "v" to go out and make a difference by rousing public support by blasting buildings , hijacking T.V stations and killing eminent members of the council . (Yawwwwwn...!! how predictable !!) .All said and done the film did have its shining moments ...especially when "v" introduces himself to natalie portman in a barrage of words starting with v. ..and the scene with the dominoes...yeah..that totally rocked !! Apart from that Hugo weaving Pulls off an impressive job as "v", and Natalie looks totally hot in the movie..and she manages to do a good job too. Was very dissapointed with the fact that there were hardly any "bullet-time" action sequences made famous by the matrix series.And yeah..another thing hard to digest is that V's identity is a secret throughout a movie..no unmasking ..no glimpses ..nothing..much unlike the batman and spiderman and zorro movies.Leaves a lot of questions unanswered.In my books i'd say its "ok" watch. I'd give it a 7.5/10.

Lucky To Be Alive...

Whats wrong with the world ? Today was such a crazy day..!! And guess why....?? One of my room-mates got kidnapped. Yes..I kid you not!! But he was luck enough to be released unharmed the very same evening. My room-mate had gone out with his girfriend and on his way heard some screams for help. He went to towards the house to help and was held at gunpoint by the robbers and forced to go along with them . All this happened hardly in a span of 3 minutes. All this was witnessed by his girlfriend and she called me up as soon as this incident took place. I rushed to the scene along with a few others, but by then they had long gone.All we could do next was to lodge a complaint and wait for the "crappy" police department to work its wonders.The responseiveness of the policemen was slugggish and thats what really got me irritated. We had to explain the sequence of events to them atleast a dozen times and at the end of it all half of them were still confused as to what had happened. We did scan the area but couldnt find them anywhere.Luckily the goons called up on his girlfriends cell a while later and then in sometime released him at some remote place.It was a truly shocking experience for him and for us too. It just got me thinking about how unpredictable life is, and all of us no matter how rich or poor , big or small are susceptible to the same unpredictabilities of life.When shit happens ..it happens at the most unexpected times.I was expecting the worst , and was elated when i heard the news that they had released him without any injuries.Still...this incident is gonna play on my mind for a long long time...

Its 4 a.m , and I still cant sleep...

Innocence Lost...

An interesting thing happened on my way to the store today. There was this small really cute stray puppy which was whimpering by the roadside.I looked at it and felt really bad for the poor thing ...And then these two small kids (must be 8 or 9) were going by on their bicycles...and they just stopped in their tracks ..got off the cycles ..and started playing with the puppy and cuddling it. That was a sight to remember...that was innocence at its best...!!

Growing up as we know it, has its share of pros and cons... But the thing I hate the most about growing up is the loss of innocence. Welcome to the real world they say ...welcome to the world of sex , crime , corruption , malice , jealousy..You name it !! And then BANG ..!! ...outta no where ...U witness this awesome pure deed of kindness that really melts your heart , and makes you wish you were a kid all over again.

Why didn't I follow my instincts ...Why didn't I go and meddle around with the little furball ?? If this had happened a few years back..I'm sure even I would have acted like the kids did.Was it the "EGO" that comes with growing up that stopped me?? Was it my mind ridiculing me ,saying "Go ahead, make a fool out of yourself by acting like a kid" and "yeah yeah...Do it for the chicks" !?

Jack of all trades... ??

I love boring lectures....they actually give me the time to sit back and analyze what I've achieved in life...And what I have planned for the future. Today was one such day...Extremely warm weather...and really boring professors..!! As I sat in the classroom gazing out of the window...I started thinking ... What have I really achieved in life till now ?? Only a few months till I graduate and yet I cannot boast of a single major accomplishment? I've always felt that taking up "engineering" was the biggest mistake in my life.I should have been in something more creative ...like advertising or branding , filmmaking etc.. But its too late to switch now. I've resigned to the fate I've chosen...and there's no turning back.The thing that irritates me the most is that I haven't excelled in any field in particular.Almost like being a jack of all trades and master of none.The problem with me is that anything that's new and interesting totally catches my attention.. , so that actually limits the attention span I give to a particular subject. That's probably why I'm well versed in most things in life..But I cant really say that I've mastered any of them.My table is littered with half read novels ...books about languages ..which I've barely flipped through ...books about programming... covered with layers of dust..A brand new guitar lying in the corner of the room , a SLR camera with fungus on the lens...this list could go on and on ..!! They're all witnesses to my problem. This is a major issue and has been in the back of my mind for the past few days.I get distracted too easily... Anything new and interesting comes up ..and i'll find myself trying to figure it out. It's good in a way ...because you are always up to date and know a little of everything ...but not really helpful in practical situations.I really want to get rid of this habit and actually pick up something and complete it in time ..or atleast manage to be the best at what I do.If only life was actually that simple...

heyo folks !!

really sorry...havnt been able to update my shit for a long long time. Basically was just busy with the business school admissions ...and also busy with some friends who had come down from australia...plus some really depressing news on the "love" front. I mean...u think u really know someone ..and then they really show their hidden colours. Everything goes from all hunky dory to absolutely unbearable. Why does life have to be like this ? why does the person you love the most have to be someone you totally despise ?? Time changes everything ... You think thats its gonna be a great future together .. and then something happens and its all gone in a jiffy...!! I'm so fed up of all this .. I really wanna be alone for some time . Life sucks ...!!
